Twitch Streamer Sanchovies Handles Indefinite Ban

Twitch Streamer Sanchovies has released a new statement after being indefinitely banned from the popular streaming platform. Last week Sanchovies, who stream most often league of legends On Twitch, received First ever ban from the site. As such, it looks like his time away from the podium will be short. Unfortunately, based on a new statement Sanchovies has released since then, it appears that this ban will last longer than expected.

Released via his Twitter account this weekend, Sanchovies has shed more light on his current ban from Twitch. In short, he explained that the reason for his ban was as a result of him joking that he wanted to blow up his ISP after he had some connection issues while streaming. Joking though, saying this at all breaks the rules of the Twitch service, which has resulted in Sanchovies being banned for an as yet unspecified amount of time.

In light of this situation, Sanchovez expressed regret over the situation (and his subsequent actions on Twitter) and said he would just like to get another chance from those in power in Twitch. “Again, this is the first time I’ve ever been banned on Twitch, so now I’m experiencing what’s like not being able to connect with all the amazing people I’ve been lucky enough to meet on a daily basis. Awful,” Sanchovez said in his post. “The past few months have been very difficult for me, but I need to learn to control my emotions better and be careful with the things I say. And I have definitely learned my lesson. I am really, really sorry, and I hope for a second chance.”

For now, it remains to be seen what Twitch will choose to do with and block the Sanchovies. Given the way Twitch has acted in the past with bans like this, it seems likely that the Sanchovies will be allowed to return to the platform at some point. However, whether that comeback happens any time soon is what we have to wait and see.
